The initial batch of terminals have left our warehouse in Singapore and is on its way to end customers. IP NEO - High-Performing, Ultra-Portable Satellite TerminalWith speeds above 1 Mbps from a single terminal, the IP NEO represents a new era for portable L-band satellite terminals, setting new standards for performance with service expected to be two to three times faster than existing L-Band systems. The IP NEO is ultra-portable, battery-powered and designed to provide reliable and secure connectivity even in the harshest of environments. At only 22.5 x 22.5 cm and just 2.2 kg, it is small and light, providing robust data connectivity from a backpack in seconds. A strong partnershipWith a solid leadership position in the market for L-band terminals, we have a long and well-established track record of bringing high performing, cutting-edge L-band technology to market, which was a contributing factor to being appointed as sole technology provider of the new SPACE42 Thuraya 4 terminals. The NEO portfolioThe IP NEO is the first in a series of new products that make up the NEO portfolio, which will be launched over the coming months. The NEO series consists of portable terminals, vehicular and maritime satcom terminals for on-the-move connectivity, and a range of accessories and gateways for the Thuraya PTT solution.&nbsp; All NEO terminals support the upcoming Thuraya T4-NGS satellite, offering significantly higher throughput than any other L-band constellation in the market today. The T4-NGS satellite was launched in January with expected service in second half of 2025. All new NEO terminals are fully compatible with the current Thuraya T2 satellite constellation. With the new option to configure the SAILOR 6110 mini-C GMDSS installation, you can now stay fully IMO compliant with IMO Res. MSC.434(98) without printers onboard, as the regulation permits the use of an Integrated Navigation System (INS) or other external backup for message storage. Accordingly, this provides the opportunity to eliminate printers onboard. This not only saves space but more importantly reduces noise levels, environmental footprint and costs as no paper is needed.&nbsp; Below please find the main issues to consider when configuring your SAILOR GMDSS installation to a printerless set up.
